1. We have 11 sacks on the year for 73 yards lost. Our opponents avg 13 sacks and 105 yards lost.
*Pickett is not getting pressured as bad as we think...he needs to make better plays. (surprised me)
*Oline is bad but maybe not quiet as bad as we see without watching film.

2. Pitt is 13-17 in the red zone. Pitt opponents 21-25. That's a pretty big number of times they get to the red zone.
* We need more trick plays to trip and flip the field.
* We need to find either attempt to block more punts or do a better job of returning them so we can get into the red zone.

The OL gets not help from KP who has not mastered stepping up in the pocket and sliding to avoid the pass rush

1. Many of the "pressures" are leading to Pickett bailing and running down field. Even a one yard gain isn't recorded as a sack.
2. Using trick plays to flip the field is a weird notion. So is suggesting the team needs to get better at punt blocking and returns. If opponents are getting to the red zone, and succeeding once you they get there, it means your defense is allowing long drives. Holding teams to "3 and out's" has a much higher success rate in "flipping the field" than any gadget plays or big ST plays.

Also helps that the opponents have thrown 80 more passes than us, so less chances to get sacks.

The next time I see Pickett step up into pocket and make a throw will be his first.

Could be related to TE route running/catching according to the TE dis made this week. As far as not being able to make a play that not true. He has thrown some nice balls this year to french on different plays. Obviously Mack too. AM has dropped a few nice throws, but the biggest problem is guys are not open down field or the down field throws have been under thrown.
