I don't know if Pitt will pursue these guys or not, but a pair of second-year players at Virginia are in the portal, and there's at least a little connection to Pitt.
These two were part of a bus tour from Dunbar High School two summers ago. By chance, that tour stopped at Pitt on a random Tuesday night in June; it just so happened that Pitt was holding its final prospect camp that evening. The camp was billed as a "WPIAL elite" camp and was mostly a showcase for guys like Daequan Hardy from Penn Hills, but the kids from Florida showed up and made things really interesting.
Milledge and Williams both got Pitt offers out of that camp. Milledge, in particular, was really outstanding, running a sub-4.4 40 and then putting on a show in the position drills.
So there's a little history there. Like I said, I don't know if Pitt will pursue one or both or neither of those guys. Williams was a defensive back at Virginia, and the Panthers could potentially use another body there to fill out the depth. And speed is speed, so Milledge could be intriguing.
