With all the veterans returning to Pitt’s defense in 2018, it’s easy to overlook a redshirt freshman who hasn’t seen the field yet in his college career.

Chances are, Jaylen Twyman won’t be overlooked for much longer.

That is good news. Hopefully it translates because our DL really needs to improve this year. A strong DL is by far the key to a top defense and will make our LBs and DBs look much better. Getting even half of Aaron Donald would be fantastic production from DT.
