Darrel Mack is in the portal and will have two years of eligibility . He is a dual threat QB who was highly thought of but played behind two outstanding Qb,s while at UCF. He is listed at 6-3 and 210 and did not play this year. He was offered by Pitt coming out of the Tidewater, Virginia area and interestingly enough was offered by Chris Beatty when he was at Maryland. Could be some interest by both parties. We need to bring in a Qb who compete here for 2021 with Pickett most likely moving on.

Darriel Mack would have 2 years of eligibility.

Or you can call me Ray, or you could call me Ray Jay

That was from something back in the 70’s but I can’t remember the originator

The favorite son who coaches Nebraska better figure things out or he will be gone in 2 years. If he thinks this QB can save his ass then that’s most likely where he ends up given they know each other ?

If you played some laugh in reruns to the millennials their heads would explode

I couldn’t for the life of me remember that so thanks to all of you older gents like myself for clearing that up

My name is Darryl, you can call him D
You can call me Darryl Mack, or you can call him DMC
People always ask, "DMC, what does it mean?"
D's for never dirty, MC for mostly clean

Does Rev Run have any eligibility?

Do we really want a QB that brings his own turnover chain?

Tis the season for a new thread on every single QB on the transfer portal!

Why would he go to Nebraska? They have a freshman about who was offered by Ohio state and just embarrassed penn state this year
Because I’ve watched about every single Nebraska game to know if his last name was something different, he would be playing QB at Ohio. He’s very very bad but will probably be a good WR for them.

Mack sucks. Cant throw the ball worth a damn.
Can we at least make threads on potential transfer targets worth anything?

Do you know of any . I would take a mobile QB even if it is to mix things up with a pocket passer for a handful of plays. if this staff doesn’t see a need to upgrade the position for at least a different type of QB that is on our roster than we will watch the QB get sacked or pressured time after time again. This staff is just starting to realize that when it comes to o lineman you need both quality and quantity that’s why such an emphasis this year with a half. Of dozen . Tough position to gauge so even if half become serviceable you might have a decent. Unfortunately it takes probably Three years before most offensive lineman are ready

UCF now has another transfer QB. McKenzie Milton has apparently fully recovered from his knee injury and will transfer out for an opportunity to start in his final year of eligibility. Good for him.

If those three words apparently fully recovered are indeed true then he would definitely be worth the look. He is the type of QB Pitt doesnt seem to have and could be a difference maker if his athletic ability can be incorporated into this offense. There a ton of grad transfer QBs available or transfers period that will not have to sit out. I trust that this staff and Whipple and PN are doing their homework.

He is lucky to still have a knee and leg. There was a possibility that would need an amputation.

I know he has a desire to play in the NFL, but I can't believe he is considering playing again.

Milton probably doesn’t leave the state of FL if healthy. FSU, Miami, and UF all will need QBs next year. Although I guess UF and Miami’s could come back with the new rule.

The only way McKenzie Milton comes to Pitt is if whipple is gone...so, yes bring Milton in and the UCF OC!!
