UCF QB broke his ankle

Didnt realize he had transferred there. Good thing I only stand to lose 5 bucks then. Whoops

Wimbush was very inaccurate at ND. QB’s that can throw the ball are what scare me with our defense.

That's funny!

Isn't that what most QB's do throw the ball alot?
The other guys who run the ball are called RB's.

Maybe when they play PITT they should have a throw limit?

Doesn't say much about our defense.

How about I love QB's who throw the ball because we'll sack them or interecept the ball!

Actually a lot of QB’s in college have average arms and cannot make a good throw on the 18 yard out. We are also suspectible to the deep ball which requires a good arm. I thought what I stated was fairly obvious, but I did not consider the Simpletons like you in the audience. I will spoon feed it to you next time.

What kind of league do you think we play in. All /most ( except PITT according to posters here) ACC QB's can throw the ball so you

You must be s

scared to death every ACC game.

Maybe we should get better I think people have been posting stuff like you posted for years now!
Maybe next year or even this year you might say I love QB's who throw the ball because we'll sack them or interecept the ball!

But I do think a max throw count allowed against us would help.

They will probably be fine at QB with Wimbush.

That offense isn't exactly predicated on some precision QB that can read defenses. The genius of that offense is that it's idiot proof to some degree.

Wimbush had 30 touchdowns against 10 turnovers and lead Notre Dame to one of the nation's best offenses while playing against one of the 2-3 toughest schedules in the country.

I wouldn't start jumping for joy yet.

Wimbush Career Passing Stats - 20 TD’s, 12 INT, 2606 yds, Passer Rating - 119, and 50% completion in 3 years.

Kenny Pickett Career Passing Stats - 13 TD’s, 7 INT, 2478 yds, Passer Rating - 121, and 58% completion in 2 years.

Yeah, that looks great as long as you don't consider that Wimbush rushed for 14 touchdowns and almost 900 yards in 2017. (4 less than Saquaon and top 20 in the nation)

Good thing Pitt has tons of experience at Linebacker that should contain him.
People are so concerned with Pitt's pass defense that they forget our rush defense was even worse last year. UCF rushed for 250 yards against Pitt last year and return with their 3 top running backs from that game.

Bro, Wimbush is awful and isnt half the QB Pickett is. He got beat out by Book who isnt even that good either. Are you trolling???

Book, who threw for 275 yards in 6 out of 9 games (Pickett 1 out of 14 games)?
Went 8-1 as a starter? Only loss to Clemson.
Top 5 in Power 5 in completion %.
Was top 10 in Power 5 in QBR and efficiency?

Here’s a newsflash, Pickett would have been benched as well if Pitt had Book on the roster.

Running QBs who don't throw it well haven't given Pitt many problems under Narduzzi. It's QBs who can throw that cause the problems.

Wimbush is an average QB at best. Like I said earlier, the kid who broke his ankle can't throw either. Might have been Wimbush as the starter if he didn't get hurt.

Book not that good, just on a good team.
Pickett had an average team and an AWFUL coordinator.
Book would have bad stats with that coordinator.
Kinda hard to be good at throwing the ball when your not allowed to do it.
Stats can be padded and don't always mean you are a great QB.
The steelers Devlin Hodges broke Steve Mcnairs records. And had great stats. Who is he ? Right. My point exactly.

Book had 4 more passing attempts than Pickett...So I guess he doesn't get to throw either.
Book played against a schedule that most ranked harder than Pitt's, so not sure where the stat padding comes into play.
They played 5 common opponents.
QB CMP ATT CMP% TD INT Rating
Book 114 173 65.89% 13 3 145.89
Pickett 56 106 51.64% 5 2 124.77

Look, Kenny could have a good year with the new coordinator, he has shown moments that give me hope. But most of the time he stares down his intended receiver then scrambles if he isn't open. I'd be more excited and hopeful about this year if we had brought in one of the many qb transfers in the off-season. I hope that I'm wrong.

Edit: And just because Hodges might not be an NFL QB doesn't mean he wasn't a good college qb. Quick, someone tell Manziel, Tebow, Troy Smith, and Jason White to give back their Heisman's because they were actually terrible college QBs because they failed in the NFL.

Some on the Free Panther Lair site are probably worried that UCF will play him against PITT and a one legged QB will take us apart.

If yes I would hope Duzz won't waste time that week preparing for a running QB so someone should send him a letter to remind Duzz.

Finally our LB's will be able to outrun someone on the other team?
