Hubert Davis should be fired if they lose this game. 25 points ahead? Shameful.
Exactly, awful. What an awful last play. Wait until three seconds left meandering around 30 feet from the basket, oh, hey, I guess I need to throw one up here.
Manek getting a Flagrant 2 has swung the momentum. Might see Bipolar UNC within 1 game.
He had possession.Baylor didn't have possession jeez, these refs suck.
The guy on the ground with the ball was verbally calling it as well. You could see it on the replay.Change the rule. Only the player with the ball can call the TO. That Baylor TO apparently was called from the bench. Which, imo, is BS.

Otherwise, many herein are sounding a lot like ACC homers. Baylor called for a good bit more fouls, UNC at the line a good bit more.
Davis is a stud. The problem with Pitt’s recruiting strategy has been the failure to be able to get another very good player when they miss their top target. There HAS to be a VIABLE Plan B.RJ Davis, 30 points, 6 assists.
Being the bridesmaid is the story of this administration
There are quite a few teams in this thing that meet that same description.I don’t think I’ve seen a team with such extreme highs and lows. They could literally beat anyone when they are on and then look awful against us and other teams. They got completely blown out in some games this year.

If you say so JoeIf you watched the game then you should know that given the way that the two teams play Baylor SHOULD have been called for a lot more fouls. They were playing the old Georgetown/John Thompson, we're going to commit so damn many fouls that the refs will never call them all defense.
If you say so Joe
I guess I’m basing it on literally watching every game of this tournament and seeing how in the vast majority of them the refs are big time ‘letting em play’. A lot of banging and hacking they are letting go that usually isn’t the case during the regular season in most games.Did you watch that game and think that the way Baylor was playing, especially in the second half, shouldn't have led to a ton of foul calls?
Seriously?
I'm guessing you are one of those people who judges if a game was well officiated by whether or not the total fouls called on both teams ended up the same.

I think it was as more physical, much more compared to a regular season game but only somewhat compared to how they’ve been calling these tourney games. So I don’t think it was outrageous. If you have watched all the games then you know that that game was much more physical than your typical game so far.

It’s irrelevant now UNC won.Except they aren’t
Fouls were called 10 on unc and 1 on Baylor during that stretch
I hate unc but that was egregious
Although I don’t know the status of the UCLA guy that got hurt late.
BumpThe ACC’s going to have as many sweet sixteen teams as the Big Ten lol
