I never paid a ton of attention to what Tim Donaghy did exactly to get thrown out of the NBA. I thought the story was pretty fascinating and actually wondered how many referees give “insider information” to their friends who then bet based on what the refs know about a game. It did not really seem like Tim tried to influence games (but I did fall asleep off and on through the show)

There is cheating in sports and cheating in politics and cheating in trading and everywhere else. All it takes is an insider giving just enough info. With how crazy sports betting is now, it’s got to be hard to police someone of this stuff
