The risk is obvious if they play, but if they don't play, there are going to be guys who have their lives changed without even knowing it. Whether it is college or high school, seniors sometimes make huge impressions that changes their recruiting or draft status.

Wait you think that all these people dying are the result of covid???? As long as you have covid in your system, they are classifying it a covid death. People killed in vehicle accidents, people who have terminal cancer. This is not being debated. Google how the government counts coronavirus deaths. It doesn't matter what existing condition a person had. If there is corona in there system, they are counting it. This is a fact. Who's the idiot now? I suspect you will find a way to dispute this even though government officials are on video at press conferences admitting this
If power 5 shuts down, it is due the threat of player unionization.
Each team should play one game this year. The rivalry game. Spread them out over the season. Mich vs OSU, Alabama vs Auburn, PITT vs WVU. Since Penn State is unrivaled they could just play with themselves.
Moronic things? I don't quite boycott Facebook, but I am pretty darn close, and disappointed with myself that I haven't completely pulled the trigger yet.
I agree, these players want compensation for risking their health. They have been planning this for quite sometime now. Good strategy by the players but not going to happen.
