It is with great pride that I formally announce the acceptance of UPJ87 Jr. to the 2016 freshman class of the University of Pittsburgh. It has been hell on the lad to live in Central PA and be raised as a Panther fan but I feel it has helped make him a stronger, less arrogant, fine young man....

Congratulations! Is he going to UPJ as well? I spent a year there before transferring to Oakland because they didn't offer my major here. Now I'm back anyway, working about a half mile from UPJ campus!

Nope...Off to Oakland...His old man wanted him to go into engineering (as old men tend to do) but he chose finance (guess he wants to have some fun in school).

March. Too freakin cold!

Try the Bradford campus if you want cold (plus dismal) in winter. I was there for the 1965-66 winter before relocating to Oakland. A truly frigid experience! Also had full lake effect 100% overcast from early October to early April. I almost forgot the sun existed!
