Their GM or whatever they call it said the board said what I said. Go get the best coach available and we'll figure out a way to pay for it. Made it seem like money was not an issue.
So after a worldwide search, we wound up with a guy who Romania, Bulgaria, or Boliviia wouldn't even give an interview to if teams like that had openings. Unbelievable. I dont think Berhalter is that terrible but we are hosting the World Cup and should have a legit shot to reach a semi like Morocco, Senegal in 02, Croatia, etc. Berhalter isnt the man to do that.
