Yep. And with Gio just now returning to training, does Gregg roster him? I would think not. So Gregg can go a few more months without speaking to him.
When is the next window after this one? The January window is usually ham and eggers traditionally.
The roster that is being announced tomorrow is for the window that comes next week. While it doesn't excuse Burp not talking to Gio yet, there is no way he is anywhere close to playing in those games. That would be Uzbekistan on the 9th and Oman on the 12th.
The next window after that is in October. The US plays Germany on Oct 14 and Ghana on Oct 17. The next window after that is in November. That is the next round of Nations League games (for the US, other teams are playing them next week), the ones that the US needs to win to play in the Copa. The first of those games is on Nov 16.
Today at a media availability our man Burp said that because of "the incident" he talked to every player on the team about what happened. He felt that since it was a team thing he owed it to all of them to talk to each player about it individually.

This is a huge year for Reyna. Kid has the potential to be the best player in our pool and he can’t stay healthy and has mommy and daddy issues.
