UVA thread

Milligan and Shamiel have at least attempted to drive inside. Everyone else continues to pick & pop and look for threes to jack up

Didn’t think we’d get a point per minute. Really contemplated when I saw the spread seeing if I could get to Vegas and dump all my money on UVA.

Seven points at halftime on a JWF 3 and three early free throws by Milligan. They have a legitimate chance of not getting out of the teens... It is fascinating, if nothing else.

Edit:. 3 plus 3 is only six. So somewhere in that abyss somebody must have hit a free throw too.

Hopefully Stallings will be gone before that happens.

Watching the zoo kids actively cheer for this disgrace failure is really sad. Granted I am doing the same thing but how sad

I'm pretty sure that half the guys on this board could go better then 1-22 if they just chucked up shots from half court. This is so aweful it's actually impressive.

As I recall, UVA had a game where they held Georgia Tech to 29 points a few years back. 22 second half points feels a bit unrealistic for this Pitt team so beating that benchmark seems to be in reach for UVA.

At least they held for last shot or they be down 33-7 at halftime. SOOOOO EMBARRASSING!!!

I just heard the announcer state that 7 points is the lowest half scoring for ANY college game at ANY level this year. Wow!

I’m trying so hard not to smack this young team down, but good god, there is no growth I’ve seen, nothing to inspire me that this particular core of players will be a whole lot better next year. I’m talking about the people playing, not the additions. So many missed airballs, missed dunks, missed layups.

Trashing our own players. You're seriously one of the biggest POS' on this board, and that says a TON.
He was pushed out by SJU. Probably not the best way to put it, but SJU recruited over him and encouraged him to transfer.

LOL! If Stallings is still here, and God forbid that happens, they'll probably go 0-18 again and maybe get 5 total wins. The guy can't coach one bit! If we get a new coach and he can get even 1 or 2 decent recruits and let a few of the current roster leave, we might be able to get 3 or 4 ACC wins next year. But it all depends on getting a decent coach and staff. That's the hard part right now, in light of the scandal going on and the anticipated demand for good coaches by everyone else.

The current roster has maybe 1 or 2 ACC-level players on it, that's it. And both of them are bench players that would normally get limited minutes on a good team. That's what Stallings has recruited and continues to recruit. He pushed out the only kid on this team that is ACC quality, Cam Johnson. And next year's recruits are at best only equal to this group, they aren't an improvement.
