Could have won by 50, and shown them the playbook.

Nardo could have shown everything. Weah, Henderson, Mathews, Flowers, TEs (3 of them!) .... would have had a field day! Then Ollison would have battered them and Davis & Hall would have sliced them up. And Moss!

But like Wanny at Ohio U, Nardo and O Co-ordinater ran 4 plays all game. We are lucky we didn't lose. Vanilla Defense schemes. Vanilla Offense schemes. Just waiting to eat Peachy Paternos

I doubt we will see it, but the night and day difference in the offensive schemes from Villanova to PSU last season really needs to be repeated on the defensive side this year for Pitt to have a shot, IMO. If Pitt stays in the standard HCPN D, they'll probably get torched. Might not work, but if they mix things up frequently with zone and blitz packages, maybe they keep PSU off balance enough to keep us in the game and maybe get on top. After last week and last year, I am fearing Barkley on the wheel route. Hoping they have a bunch of Defensive tricks up their sleeves.

It's a good thing we didn't show them a QB that can complete a pass , a kicker that could make a FG, and a defense that can cover someone out of the backfield. We kept it vanilla for sure.
