Biggest change....and it's no surprise....Penn State falls to #4 with Creighton staying at #5 but coming closer to pushing Penn State out of the top 4. Louisville is now 3rd. Nebraska picked up another 1st place vote.....no big deal.

Reactions: HOF Coach
VB coaches are way too chill about failure. PSU getting boat raced off the floor by Wisconsin and only dropping one spot is wild. Minnesota loses two last week, one that was just bad, and drops two spots. USC lost to Illinois and somehow stays in the top 25. Also, the Big12 is not that good but has just as many teams in the top 25 as the ACC?

Yeah, spots 15 through 30 are really pretty interchangeable. PSU is getting historical bias in the voting, I would guess. Their record is pretty good but that loss to Wisconsin was just ugly. There is clearly a bit of B1G bias, partly based on their history of national titles.

Agree with the historical bias notion....but that may be some of my own bias that the ACC is still considered an outsider to the VB elite. I think some don't even consider Stanford an ACC team at this point. I really only care about the choosing of the top 16 seeds come December 1st.....and that the committee gets this done correctly and fairly. I'm sure we'll be kicking this around more on this board once we get to the final week of regular season games.....looking forward to hearing everyone's point of view then.

Historical bias has kept Kentucky floating for years.

When the tournament selection happens, the SEC and Big12 will get way more love than they deserve. That's the only thing I'd bet money on. ACC will be lucky to get five teams.

Out west I watch a lot of B12 Volleyball. ACC's top 4 of Pitt, Louisville, Stanford and SMU are comfortably better than the best the B12 has to offer.
