Rec Hall can be noisy with a small crowd but it's not like PSU doesn't play at Nebraska and Wisconsin. Even Purdue is drawing bigger crowds. This is going to be closer to the norm for big games so blaming the crowd is a cop-out. If PSU could have shut down Pitt's attack, that place would have gotten quiet. The crowd didn't block PSU 11 times. The crowd didn't shut down PSU's best two hitters. The crowd wasn't why Torrey hit over 0.500. They only scored 44 points against Pitt. They just got dominated.
