Ticket sale decision
Like bob bowlsby 2003 basketball tournament giving Texas a 1 seed got to play 1st 4 rounds basically at home

They didn’t even win their own league regular season or tournament … but that was the only site with large amount of unsold tickets
Bowlsby admitted it at the time … he was choking trying answer questions about numerous things that year

Admittingly I have not watched a single non-Pitt volleyball match, but people on the volleytalk forums who are the die-hards basically expected Lou to be the 4th one seed. I think I would rather face them over Stanford in the potential F4 match. We’ll see. Once you get to the elite 8, anything could happen imo.

Even aside from what it means for Pitt, I don't like that Louisville will play every game at home. I was hoping they would get a 2 seed just so they'd have to play a few games somewhere else.

Very true

We beat them 3-1 at the YUM Center. We beat Wisconsin at Wisconsin in the elite 8 in 2022. To really good teams, it doesn't matter.
