A few months ago, I shared how I live in east Tennessee and how I had a conversation with a Univ of Tennessee donor, who told to me that UT loved playing the Johnny Major classic and loved the road trip to Pitt. They would love to make Pitt a more frequent road trip. He also said that UT is advocating for Pitt in the next round of SEC expansion.
I find it interesting that Pitt’s new AD is from UT, but the most interesting part is that UT AD Danny White, members of the UT board of Trustees and donors to UT were all at the press conference. Maybe they were just in town to support Greene, but I feel like there are a lot of bridges being built for the future. I am sure Pitt and UT had to have conversations about many different topics.
