I don’t normally pay attention to the refs but who the hell is that high stepping? Can’t help but notice him. Does he usually run like that?

Happens all the time in football. dude screws up and Gets benched for first series. Comes in for second series. We’ll see what coach says.

And it doesn't just say that to Johnson and Horton. It says to the other guys that if you'll sit Johnson you might sit them too.
In the second half maybe Champagnie could try something a little different and play some defense.

We are undefeated when Johnson plays well so this is a good sign.
VT has only had 3 people score. Their entire offense is Aluma and Mutts killing us in the paint and Cone hitting 3s. Can anyone play interior defense? Honestly, I may want to see more of Brown out there.

If he was playing in a Pee Wee league he could be the defensive player of the year by swatting a bunch of four foot tall kids' shots. But much beyond that level, no.
He only had 5 shots in the half, so a little more offense would help as well.
It's obvious that Virginia Tech doesn't want him going off, so if he wants more shots (and he certainly should) he's going to need to work a little harder on that end too.
He did a good impersonation of a statue on that back door play in the first half.
He honestly has no interest in playing defense

If we were getting even just below average play from our centers we'd be well ahead in this game. Instead, in addition to the awful defense they are playing we've got 18 minutes of 0 points and 1 rebound from Coulibaly and 10 minutes of 0 points and 1 rebound from Brown.
