Visiting Fan question

No.
It’s about 30-40 minutes longer

As someone who made the chapel hill to pittsburgh trip likely over 100 times.
Exactly. NO. Don't go I79. It is far out of your way. Most of 19 is now 4 lanes and the horrors of the speed trap in Summersville is way over blown. Just watch your speed through there.

The Waze app's police alert ended my highway speeding ticket habit cold turkey. It works beautifully, especially on highly traveled highways with lots of other Wazer's using the app at any given moment. Cops' locations are usually posted within seconds of them pulling into their hiding spots and you are alerted at least a half mile prior to encountering them. Even if they move before you arrive, you know they are in the area and can take it easy.

Google maps let my wife and I know that there was a speed trap set up the last time we were traveling

I have a question about that app. Do you have to use the navigation to be able to take advantage of the police alerts? Or, does it work with "location on" on my phone, and not require me to use their navigation?

It works best with the navigation, but it will still recognize the road you are driving and look ahead a half mile to give the police alerts while driving, if you simply turn on the app and drive.

The bluetooth or traditional USB connection can block ability to listen to the radio and use the app at same time for some cars, so I use Apple CarPlay to project it onto my car's touchscreen and play through the car speakers, while still listening to the radio. I use the navigation every day to get to work, not because I need the navigation, but rather for the traffic jam avoidance and fastest route re-direction seems to be quicker than the other apps I have tried.

So tickets booked. Section 107 Row B. 5 guys going. Booked Hotel on North Shore right across from baseball stadium within 6 min walk to Heinz field. So, how’d I do?

How can you actually buy tix as of yet? Just asking as they aren't released yet as far as I know

Good!
Staying at a Northshore Hotel on gameday makes the day more enjoyable.
That's what Mr Buffett and I do!

Go PITT!
