3 of the worst coaching jobs in recent ACC memory. Those teams all have bubble talent and in VT's case, Sweet 16 talent. FSU and ND shouldn't be all-time bad. Both teams have plenty of talent and they are screwing the ACC.
I was shocked to see ND beat Michigan State and FSU kept Purdue within 10.3 of the worst coaching jobs in recent ACC memory. Those teams all have bubble talent and in VT's case, Sweet 16 talent. FSU and ND shouldn't be all-time bad. Both teams have plenty of talent and they are screwing the ACC.

How exactly are they screwing the ACC?
Every year, in every conference, there are teams that don't live up to expectations. And every year there are teams that exceed expectations.
The ACC is perceived as weak because the 2 blue bloods are having mediocre seasons. UNC, the preseason #1, is fighting just to stay above .500 in league play while Duke, the other preseason Top 10 team, hasn't been very good either.
FWIW, VaTech and Notre Dame have lost a lot of close games. Neither is really all that talented either.
