Wade at Tennessee

I wonder if he is enjoying his trip to knoxville and the game.

13 - 3 App St!

-Tennessee looks terrible. The SEC East is still the worst P5 division in all of college football. That conference is a joke.

-On the flip side, Louisville, a team Pitt beat last year, is winning 56-0 in the 2nd Quarter. Clemson and Florida State better look out. Louisville should have beat Clemson last year.

Louisville I'm sure is good but, they are also pouring it on the worst fbs program of all 128, a team that Villanova would beat by a couple scores.
They are calling time outs at end of half up 49 pts to pile on more ..

The Fighting Tommy Tubbervilles are down to Tennessee-Martin in the 2nd half and UConn is tied with Maine. The Big 12 is really picking from some power football programs for their expansion, aren't they?

Meanwhile, I know this will come as a surprise to you all, but a Will Muschamp led team is scoreless and struggling at Vandy.

Yikes 10-31 when trailing at halftime. Butch Jones is pretty good at halftime adjustments

No way is this Tennessee team deserving of its Top 10 ranking. Hope Wade sees past the 100K fans and truly takes a look at the coaching staff.

This. Butler-Independence high school games out there gets more people in the stands than Charlotte.

To me, UT lost and their season will be in a downward spiral. Hurd is garbage. Hobbs is worse than I thought and can't throw the ball. Their OL can't move anybody. I guess their defense is OK...but was it really hard to stop that offense? If they finish 6-6, they would be lucky.

Yep they looked god awful today, but if you're offering Tennessee over/under win total at 6 you would have every sharp in the world beating down your door to get at the over.

Always a mistake going by the last thing you saw.

Yes - their schedule isn't all that difficult. The middle portion is the most difficult. They will probably win 7 or 8 regular season games.

It's better to judge them off of a ranking that was given to them before they played 1 game? Who did they beat last year that show they are an up and comer? A Georgia team that was imploding?

Look at their schedule and tell me what you think they are winning. Their peak to me is 7.

Wins - VT, Ohio, SC, Tenn Tech, Kentucky, Missouri, Vandy + App St.

No, I'm judging them by their over/under win total of 9.5 juiced to the over, which held up pretty well in a not so efficient market.

Preseason rankings mean very little as they are made by people that have no real idea what they're talking about.

On the other hand the people making those over/under win totals certainly do know what they're talking about.

If you put Tennessee s players and coaches out of the sec, and their band didn't play Rocky Top, would anyone rank them?

Not a freaking chance. The USC QB is making his first start against the Bama D....good luck with that.

In general a lot of people over react with the first week. Just like last year when UNC lost to a horrible South Carolina team. UNC ended with a really nice year.

USC may get Bama too.

Isn't Bama starting a RS FR too? The Barnett kid?

I tried telling people App State could make that an ugly game. Although, i didnt think it would be THAT ugly. Tennessee winning the game on their own fumble.. Thats rough man
