Then we need to go recruit Mom as well.Announcing Jan 30, seems like he wants to go to pitt but his mom wants him to go to Georgetown, said he was going to commit to pitt in December but his mom wanted him to rethink things
His Mom????Announcing Jan 30, seems like he wants to go to pitt but his mom wants him to go to Georgetown, said he was going to commit to pitt in December but his mom wanted him to rethink things
What position does she play? Can she nail a 3?Then we need to go recruit Mom as well.
Good point - their starting Center is a Jr. and they are already bringing in the two newcomers that you mentioned.I am not sure why Wahab would want to go to Georgetown and compete against two other 2019 Centers Timothy Igohoefe and Malcolm Wilson.
Birch?Honestly, has Pitt EVER landed a recruit who had a handler? There was Steven Adams but that was a bizarre once in a lifetime recruitment. I cant remember any others. Usually, if someone besides the player's immediate family is involved, they dont go to Pitt.
Birch?
If winning is a factor, I'd feel better now than before.....we've shown we have some great people for him to play with....
I think if mom and his handlers are going to win out he would already be a Hoya. Fingers crossed he does what HE wants to do.Announcing Jan 30, seems like he wants to go to pitt but his mom wants him to go to Georgetown, said he was going to commit to pitt in December but his mom wanted him to rethink things
My take was that Birch left because Pitt was not paying what Skerry promised. Skerry left for same reason, didn't see eye to eye with Pitt recruiting methods.Maybe. He was from Montreal. Not sure if he had a handler in Massachusetts. And we see how that went. Actually, I think Zanna had a guardian too
If Pitt does not allow coaches to pay for play, it won't work out here either. That turned out well.
I find these complaints about not paying kids (enough) tiresome. Capel agreed to come coach here because he agreed with Lyke’s vision, whatever that may be. Either he wins the way he’s told to or he doesn’t. He knew what he was getting into, just like Stallings did.
If he thought he couldn’t land them, he probably would never have recruited them in the first place.
We don’t know the facts and continually blaming our recruiting misses on huge payments is just being a sore loser. We just lost a kid to Dayton for crying out loud.
Or maybe he was a spoiled brat who left because he wasn't tough enough to earn his playing time. Remember how much he played. Virtually nothing. But hey this payment story is more fun isn't it?????My take was that Birch left because Pitt was not paying what Skerry promised. Skerry left for same reason, didn't see eye to eye with Pitt recruiting methods.
It is, actually.Or maybe he was a spoiled brat who left because he wasn't tough enough to earn his playing time. Remember how much he played. Virtually nothing. But hey this payment story is more fun isn't it?????
It is, actually.
The recruiting pitch should be an easy sell now. Do you want to play with the best pair of freshman guards in the country? Do you want to get easy looks? Do you want major minutes on a team that is in the process of ascending to the upper half of the ACC? If so, then come to Pitt.
