Was Stallings the best we could do?

Is this just a reality check? Seems like many turned it down
Did Will Wade, Chris Beard, Bryce Drew, Andy Enfield, Eric Musselman, Linc Darner, and Kevin Keatts all turn down the job?

How do you figure good money from the ACC. First Pitt is NOT going to hire a big name or up and coming young coach and spend any of there ACC money. If Pitt wanted to really wanted to become a top team they would need to spend a hell of a lot more cash than they were paying Dixon. They are like the Pirate spend little be average and make a boat load of league cash. and cry they need more donations. Spend the 15 million plus they are making now from the Big east days. Watch Dixon go out and hire top assistants and pay them unlike Pitt would do.

No.. he was literally the worst we could do.

Knight wanted the job and is a better candidate. Even Antigua, although awful at USF, could be cheered based on his Pitt history and recruiting ties.

Hell, Andy Toole would have at least been an off-the-wall project to watch.

This whole thing reeks of good ole' boys glad handing and taking care of each other.

It feels like unethical garbage and shouldn't be allowed in college athletics. The fact that Gallagher let Barnes hire the CSA Search Firm is downright astounding.
