Few things I think I think--

OL and DL are improving.

Holstein is improving with game experience.

Good road win in a tough venue.

The score was closer than it should have/could have been---No Pic 6 by UNC in red zone in the 1st quarter, given PItt's then field position, and the final score could have been either 37-17 or 41-17 depending on whether a PItt FG or TD would have been scored on that drive.

I was at the game and felt pitt defense was lacking. Just got through the first half on replay and defense was good.

not sure about the score not being as close as it should have been...NC was stopped twice inside the red zone on makeable 4th downs..

So saying the score was not indicative of the level of play would be an understatement.

Well, yes, I agree to an extent. Except, I attribute the stops to good defense; while I attribute the pic 6 more to a throw that shouldn't have been made -- more a QB error rather than forced by the defense.

If we can get our DT's back, that could improve things immensely. Is Anthony Johnson due to come back soon? As some have mentioned, Fitzsimmons being back has already paid dividends.

Eli admitted he mis read the defense and shouldn’t have thrown the ball. It’s only his fifth game so that’s going to happen. Love the kids attitude

Last year's QB couldn't have thrown that pick six, because it would have hit the grass eight yards in front of both the receiver and the DB and put a significant divet in the playing surface. I make no exaggeration when I say he is the worst I have ever seen. He made 50 Cent's first pitch look like it was thrown by Sandy Koufax.
