Yep, and another step forward that they battled in the Ok St game after psu. Previous Pitt versions would have been automatic boat race. Carolina game is the real early season key.
Well... ItsIt's the fake pitt fans on here. No one I saw predicted a pitt victory saturday. We beat the spread but lost the game and im ok with that.

Help me out here, but off the top of my head, I only remember 3 Pitt non-conference road wins against Power 5 teams in the last 20+ years.
2003 Texas A&M (Fitz showcase game)
2004 Notre Dame (I love this f***ing team)
2008 Notre Dame (4 OT thriller)
Notable Power 5 road losses, Ok state, Iowa (2x, 2015 and under Fraud), Notre Dame (Kevin Harper chip shot miss), Utah (though Mountain West at the time), NC State (Russell Wilson), Michigan State, Nebraska, UVA (down 30-0 at the end of the 1st quarter). Also losses to Navy and Toledo (Gradkowski huge game).
Wins don't happen often for Pitt in these games folks.
