Just came out, we got 6 votes...if we can win out we could be close to the top 25 in a few weeks...

I'm looking forward to seeing what bowl we are projected in now. But of course, I am planning for Pitt to "Pitt us" by losing against Duke this Saturday...

With the state of college football right now and our overall resume, 8-4 finish would definitely have us above top 20 probably just below top 15.

Duzz let it slip in post game that Duke is a great concern especially their young QB. I really think he chalked this win as a loss going forward to the Duke game. He did say it would be tough to become bowl eligible facing this Duke team after watching them. I don't think Duke has any answers for any questions the Pitt offense throws their way. Now...if only it wasn't senior day.

Even with our secondary, we would have the same record as PSU if we were in the Big10 with similar schedule...and in the top 10

-That can be said for a lot of teams that are ranked if we traded schedules. Look at West Virginia's schedule or the Pac-12. The ACC would run that league over this year but you see a bunch of Pac teams all ranked high because of inflated records because of weak schedules. Washington State has lost to Eastern Washington and Boise State, and they are currently undefeated in the Pac-12. That conference is so weak but is getting a ton of poll respect.

-I didnt think preseason Pitt's schedule was all that tough. Now its looking like we played one of the hardest schedules in the country again. We've played 5 ranked teams already, most teams have played 2, or in some cases, zero.

-I mean, its totally possible Pitt played the Big Ten Champion, ACC Champion, and Big 12 Champion all this season along with the ACC Coastal Champion. Never would of imagined that preseason. And that is with a ton of injuries on our defense and we still beat 2 of those.

I pretty much despise Penn State, and am so happy we destroyed them earlier this year and they looked pathetic against Indiana,

But that being said... I dont think we would a slam dunk playoff team in the big whatever they are. We still have the same defensive backfield. It would be way less of a problem in the weak Big 10, and we could beat the weak teams of PSU, Purdue, Illinois, Rutgers (haha, cant believe the big whatever they are took them), Iowa, Wisconsin (weak passing game), Minnesota, Maryland....Christ is that league that bad?? Maybe we would be.

But we DEFINITELY had some serious issues and injuries this year.

For a 4 loss team, Pitt's resume is very strong. 2 Top 10 wins and 3 very close losses to Top 25 teams. I wouldn't be shocked if we are in the CFP Top 25.

Preseason Pitt and Georgia tech had the toughest schedules in the country based off last year's w/l.

Lack of respect. When we beat OSU we vaulted to #20.
Yes but you only have 2 losses. Pitt has 4 Pitt isn't going to be ranked at 6-4 no matter how "good our losses are" or how tough the schedule has been. Win the last two and our record along with the schedule will move us up quickly I think a win against duke gets us right there at 26 to 30 a win over SU gets us in the top 25 and depending on who losses ahead of us we could make a big jump with that final win.

They will realize that the big 10 is an overrated conference OSU lucked out in a few of their games that they could have lost mich St not that good this year, Iowa not that good this year but did beat Michigan. They should have a lot of wins in the big playing Indiana, Illinois, Purdue, northwestern, Maryland, not to mention Rutgers, OSU, mich, maybe Wisconsin and maybe Nebraska are the better teams, psu beat OSU on that given day the cream will rise to the top in the big as it did in Pa. With Pitt being the best team in the state

Things are different for different programs, what can you do?
For instance, an elderly man anally raping a 12 year old is considered 'horseplay' for you, but one of the most heinous felonies for us. tomato/tomahto i guess.
Another person with sexual issues. Too much anal, too much rape, Seek help immediately.
