Agree. I suspect that Barnes and company think that for the money JD either wanted or was getting that they can do at least as good or better. As I said, I also suspect that control was a major issue for JD as well.
Once it got to a certain point, what do you want to do, have a guy who's not sure he wants to be here to be here because Pitt wouldn't budge on the buyout? If they cut it in half, then it's still significant compensation.
