I am not some old fogie yelling "dey need to practice dem free throws an' at" every time we missed one over the years. But we have had some spirited discussion over the years on these forums on how important they are. Of course they are important. They are points.
We were 18-20 last night. More importantly, we did not miss any front end (one and ones) so we really converted our opportunities.
That's a strength of this team moving forward and as games get tight, protecting leads, you don't want to put us on the line. Burton and Horton are not just good, but excellent FT shooters. Hugley and Mo are good. Femi has really improved.
Puts pressure on the opposition.
