Anyone hear this interview. All Weaver could talk about was himself and what HE has to put on tape to increase his stock and $$$. He even said strip sacks equal $$$. I think many guys on this D are thinking about themselves and not the team. Could this be a reason they aren't living up to the hype?

I don't think so... Whatever motivates them is good for the team. I don't think effort has been the problem so far this year. I will say that I think SirVocea Dennis is the best player on defense right now.

If it was any position but a dlineman I would be pissed. But the Dline is the only aspect of this team that plays well and produces. So no issue with that attitude from Weaver.

Any attempt to hate on Weaver, Ford, or Hamlin for talking about getting to the NFL, in either of their cases is just flat out lame fanboy shit. How on the planet earth shouldnt a player wanting to improve himself getting to the next level??? You think these dudes are showing up to enjoy another .500 season in a pandemic to NOT grind to get to the league??? GTFOH

What are you talking about, they should only seek honor and school pride as their reward. That's why the school doesn't charge for season tickets and Narduzzi coaches pro bono.

I'm sick of these spoiled college students only thinking about money, money, money. You don't see the 8th seat flautist demanding extra compensation for the $millions they generate for the university or discussing their future financial prospects that stand in stark contrast to their current situation. They make sure to give all their praise and credit to the school during their required public relations sessions.

I just felt he should have had a more "team" mindset during a pregame interview instead of talking about himself. I realize he has the potential to make a lot of $$$ in the future and the more pro talent on the team the better. But the kids now days have the me first mentality so I guess i will just have to deal with it.
