I never thought I'd make this post.

Thursday
8:00 - Central Arkansas @ UAB (ESPN3)
9:00 - South Alabama @ Southern Mississippi (CBSSN)

Saturday
1:00 - Eastern Kentucky @ Marshall (ESPN)
1:30 - MTSU @ Army (CBSSN)
4:30 - SMU @ Texas State (ESPN)
7:30 - Houston Baptist @ North Texas (ESPN3)
8:00 - Arkansas State @ Memphis (ESPN)
9:00 - Stephen F. Austin @ UTEP (ESPN3)

Monday
8:00 - BYU @ Navy (ESPN)

When the Big10 schools see college football being played in prime time by the ACC and SEC they will reinstate their season as soon as possible in November. Wolf will then allow some level of fans for PSU games. Mark it down.

Obviously the most attractive game is BYU vs Navy. Can't wait to see the schedule out for the September 12 weekend. I am sure that will be, probably tomorrow.

No kidding.
But most on this board say just be happy we are playing at all.

there are already talks in the big ten to pull up the start date to Thanksgiving. Will be interesting to see if that has any effect on the CFP, which has already said they are going forward with set dates.

There's been too much push-back. I think the Big Ten starts sooner than Thanksgiving now barring COVID getting worse. They planned on the ACC, SEC, and Big 12 canceling but since they didn't, they're going to have to play. The Pac 12 won't though. Different environment/culture out there.

Well.....it is about time that college football stop letting the Big 10 dictate terms.

Would be great if PSU goes undefeated and cannot be in the playoff. Would be better if they are winless.

If you look at the games that are still being played that date, well, let's say the matchups are only a little bit better than the ones being played this weekend.

Look for Clemson at Wake Forest to be the big Saturday night ABC game of the week.

I kinda doubt that given how much they'd be favored by. I also wonder if ESPN would try to put on a game with fans in the stands. Wake won't have any.

Have you looked at the schedule? They aren't going to have many choices. Here are all the games with a top 25 team playing in them:

Clemson at Wake
Missouri State at Oklahoma
Duke at Notre Dame (not a choice for ABC)
UTEP at Texas
Tulsa at Oklahoma State
Syracuse at North Carolina
Louisiana at Iowa State

Besides that, there is one, and only one, game matching P5 teams against each other: Georiga Tech at Florida State. I would guess that if it isn't Clemson/Wake it's going to be Tech/Florida State. But because of Clemson's status nationally that is probably the bigger draw.

That's a bad slate of games but I'd go with FSU/GT. FSU still has that national brand name, the game should be competitive, first game for Norvell and FSU will have 20K fans which will provide some level of an atmosphere.

It's going to incredibly weird not having Ohio State and the Big Ten shoved down our throats.

I just did..aint gonna happen..

More likely scenario is a couple kids become "cases" (ie, perfectly healthy or perhaps sniffly but tested positive) and said "cases" treated as if they contracted ebola as has been the case all along for young folks and everyone puts an end to things..

The Kentucky Derby will be run on Saturday with no fans in the stands.

Damn you, Governor Wolf.

Did you notice which game got picked?

And by the way, FSU - Georgia Tech might end up being a competitive game, but FSU is currently a three touchdown favorite. So it might, but you certainly shouldn't expect it.

They picked the obvious game for the night game, and the obvious game for the 3:30 game.
