Outcome without XJ and Toney. Competitive but about 7-10 points per game less than needed for true success. Team is still missing an ACC quality true post player (although Brown & Coulibaly played decently). Also could use an additional quality 3 ball shooter or two.

Maybe the expanded transfer pool will fill those needs for next season—at least we can hope so.

Often when a team is missing a star player (players in this case) they are able to step up that next game and produce a great effort. Not so easy to keep it going after realization sets in, we will see how it goes next game against a Wake Forest team that is arguably the worst in the conference right now.

A performance like the one today will likely result in a W.

Nc state is .500 in conference now. We can beat wake and can beat BC in opening round of tourney. Clemson is a loss, but can end year with some positive momentum.
