This staff has FAILED Kenny Pickett!
They FAILED him by not recruiting good offensive lineman.
They FAILED him by not bringing in a couple of quality offensive lineman from the transfer portal. They had to know this line was a liability last year.
When you have groomed a QB for 3 years. And in his 2nd year he showed to be very good at times. It was a NECESSITY for this staff to fill the holes on the offensive line in year 3. So he had the best chance to shine.
They FAILED him by Narduzzi hiring another re-tread coach at the most important part of his staff. Whipple got Randy Shannon fired with a ton of 4 and 5 stars. What made Narduzzi think he would be better here with a lot less talent.
Whipple has absolutely FAILED Pickett by the terrible play calling week after week.
They FAiled Him by not having a run game teams do not respect.
Pickett hasn’t failed Pit! The staff has.
Wait till next year without Pickett. Pitt will have a offensive line worse than this year. If you can believe that. And a QB like Yellen who has ZERO mobility. Who will not be able to extend the play like Pickett can. It’s going to get real ugly in year 7 in the Narduzzi regime
