First in-person look at Peterman for an extensive amount of time yesterday. Was impressed with his quick release. He gets it out quick when he decides to pull the trigger. Very little wasted motion and no big wind up. He looks to have a very capable FBS level arm. Not a cannon but a nice combination of zip and accuracy.
He also looks to be able to deliver the ball with confidence to all parts of the field. The middle of the field is an area that I think Pitt has a chance to exploit some in the pass game. But it is also often the riskiest place to throw: over LB's and in front of DB's. Throws over the middle that are off-target (short, long or wide) can be susceptible to picks. But that is also an area where TE's and possession WR's can get open. Think Peterman does give Pitt a shot to attack that part of the field in the passing game some, though.
