Brace yourselves, Pat Signals are coming.
Pitt will be wrapping up its first official visit weekend at this time next week, with all the exit interviews likely concluded by the early afternoon, and it's fair to assume there will be at least one "Pat Signal" coming. Probably more.
The official visits are obviously the most active time for high school recruiting every year, with three official visit weekends (June 5-7, June 12-14 and June 19-21), and starting Monday, I'm going to have a lot of content on who will be in town, expectations for the upcoming month, reactions from the recruits in town and more on the recruits themselves. But I am curious what those on here are expecting. I know that high school recruiting doesn't have the same sort of appeal it once did, but it is the lifeblood of the program.
Do you still care about the OVs in June? Are you expecting to have a lot of commitments each week? Who are the recruits in town that have people excited? What do you want to know about in the buildup each week?
Pitt was active last June, and I'd expect the same sort of activity this June:
Week 1 - Max Hunt, Ja'Kyrian Turner, Justin Thompson, JuJu Anderson, Damarion Fowlkes (eventually flipped to Missouri)
Week 2 - Akram Elnagmi, Shawn Lee (Jordan Fields, Cole Woodson and Josh Guerrier eventually committed after visiting this weekend)
Week 3 - Emmanuel Taylor, Torian Chester, Synkwan Smith, Mason Alexander (Denim Cook eventually committed after visiting this weekend)
