Absolutely true, and I just DON'T CARE. As for the topic, time to move forward, the victims got ENOUGH, nobody who wasn't personally involved owes them anything. We as fans wanting to see the game OWE THE VICTIMS NOTHING. Now is time to move on, have Pitt play Penn State like they used to and enjoy the game and quit making it about something else.

Hey, I've been to Gori, Republic of Georgia, Joe Stalin's hometown. His giant statue overlooks the town square, you can go see his house, THEY LOVE HIM. You can't legislate stuff like that. If they want a statue of JoePa on their campus, who say's outsiders have any right to stop it? And honestly, who cares?

Applications are already back to record numbers. There was a short period in decreased applications but it back to normal. They had 130,754 applications.

I know you're right. Guess I was over generalizing but if I was raped, then attacked by an entire fan base, made fun of, and had my character assaulted for trying to find some justice, I would probably be horrified.

Right, the specific people who where raped by Sandusky, what are there, 30-40? Yes, they are pissed and horrified, the "rest of the world" has moved on. It's funny how this board has 20 threads about this, and it's very obsessive here. In the actual news? Yes, it was reported about JoePa knowing in '76, but just a blip in the news. It's an old story now, NOBODY CARES. We know JoePa "knew" and Sandusky DID IT. The vast majority of the people figure IT'S OVER. People I know, not Pitt fans, a couple Maryland and Ohio State fans I've talked to, their attitude is, "Why keep talking about it? JoePa's dead, Sandusky is in jail, Penn State's been PUNISHED ENOUGH, it's over". DIRECT QUOTES. The only place where I personally see conversation and people obsessing over this in right here on this board.

I think those other fan bases don't have nearly as much in it. Deal with them once a year. Plus for OSU, PSU is little brother and Maryland hasn't had an axe to grind with them in a while. Plus, they don't live with these guys. Most of us have that neighbor or co-worker and have been subjected to the garbage from these clowns for years. Watching them eat themselves is morbidly fascinating and a tad enjoyable.

I know I shouldn't be that way but it's hard not to. Forgive me but I'm just speaking for myself.
