didn't have time to read all the threads but does this hurt us with Browne from USC.I remember reading that Canada flew out to California to show him the offense. Folks -with Schneider leaving we are dangerously thin at this all important position. I really feel that TMac. is gonna be an outstanding QB but the kid has started seven games at the position in his career. We need to break him in slowly next year especially with our schedule so stacked in September. We must add-any type of grad transfer our juco QB that can provide some experience or game management until TMac gets comfortable. Don't know what the QB from Pine=Richland offers and Pickett will clearly not be a factor in his first year on campus. And beyond that there is nothing. just three scholarship Qb's without a legitimate varsity snap.Yikes!

Who knows, maybe his QB coach at USC (Ty Helton) gets a look in the OC search. He was an OC at WKU and has been mentioned here during the last few searches. I'm sure the Pitt job will be very attractive given what Canada just did.

browne to pitt for sure. 3 returning OL, Weah and Henderson at WR, plus three pretty damn talented RBs to replace Conner. Plus Jones-Smith stepping into the right tackle spot assuming O'Neill flips to the left side. This is still going to be an offense that can go.

Plus an ACC schedule that doesn't have Clemson, FSU, or Louisville in the regular season.

Browne? What about keeping the offensive recruits already committed to Pitt

DiNucci took 3 kneal-down snaps against either Duke or Syracuse, can't remember which one. But you're right as to "legitimate" snaps
Hey Cal- any schedule scoops - we need a few opponents for 18-19 seasons. Back in the day of Frank's board we used to scoop the board on new series that Pitt has always been so tight lipped about. We better be a little smarter about who and when we schedule ooc games especially now that we are in a more competetive league.Playing PSU and Okie State back to back before our league opener is crazy especially if our recruiting doesn't pick up moving forward.

Sibley isn't going anywhere. He knows Narduzzi will demand a pro-style offense.
Warren and the other OL....probably in the same boat knowing their pisition coach is solid and style won't change.

Only one i'm concerned with would ve Reeves. He probably liked how much Orndoff got the ball in Canada's offense. He's the one they should make sure doesn't look around to Kentucky or Syracuse.

None of the WR's jump off the screen to me, so if either were to go...meh, you can replace those guys.

Reeves is not going to leave either. Salem was the one that recruited him the most and the tight end position still got a lot of touches before Canada came here. Also, Kentucky is not going to come back in the picture. Reeves will have a nice career alongside Chris Clark in the Pitt offense.

Any OC that comes here will have any emphasis on TE,it's how PN wants his offense to run that way

PN has stated he wont begin the search for a new OC until after the bowl game.

That would mean......if Browne wants to enroll early...and I assume he does....that there is a small window of time for Browne to decide if he is coming.

On the surface, it looks like he may end up elsewhere simply because of a more stable situation than what he would face here.

it means we are a question mark until we have an OC who can confirm what kind of offense we will run.

i'm not surprised. i posted yesterday that he probably still comes our way, even without Canada or a OC.

Its hard to imagine a depth chart as favorable to a grad transfer as Pitt's. He has to beat out

a) A RS FR who only played 7 varsity HS games

b) a Penn Quaker decommit sophomore

c) a Temple decommit true freshman

Where do I sign up?
