What ever will we do?

It's hilarious, everything in ATL is run by immigrants (Construction, hospitality, restaurants, etc).

I mean, who really needs a house or to eat out....

We are all watching dotard donny bad idea #16,987,864 (immigration) being reversed, just like all of his idiotic, poorly planned "ideas".
I don't think 90% of the people who voted for Trump is against "immigration". Just documented. And those here for some time who have had jobs, haven't committed crimes, etc....fast track to legal status. Those who have committed crimes and just living off of tax dollars without giving back, deport them. This was also pretty much the position of every Democrat in power until Trump was elected.

It’s an easy fix and we we generally in agreement. But. Serous question. Why hasn’t either side made a proposal like this ? Answer they both benefit from illegals Uniparty

Most farming is automated. Second they lay these people slave wages so they are also on gov assistance. Net net they end up costing tax payers more. How about coming here LEGALLY

What’s ironic is people demand a living wage and yet love indentured slaves to pick crops and clean toilets

But then you walk a line. Food prices are already high. Should they be higher to pay "real Americans": what wages they want to do this work? And some crops have to be picked by hand. Meat packing plants have to have humans (at least for now) doing the work

And why does it seem so hard to do? It’s as if the politicians don’t want to do anything. Just doing what you said would solve a lot of the problems. We have a bunch of lazy stupid people in congress.
Well that and what Zelda said above. It's ALL or NOTHING for these parties. 80 blames the "uniparty". But I blame the lunatic fringes who wield way too much power on both the right and left that cause political inertia on about every topic. Even ones that seem to have easy and doable solutions.

So the graphic is very misleading. The Biden administration didnt allow "illegal" immigrants into the US. It allowed asylum seekers in pending their court hearings. Now, when they dont show up for those, as many didn't, they become illegals. I am not saying I agreed with the asylum policy but that's what it was.

If they entered the country illegally, not through a legal port of entry and without proper paperwork, they are criminals. They aren't "asylum seekers", whatever the fvck that is. They aren't immigrants because immigrants are here legally, having completed the proper procedures and documentation to become U.S. citizens. None of these illegal aliens have done that or intend on doing that. Hell, there are thousands of them that have been living here for decades and have never become U.S. citizens. The Biden regime allowed over 20 million illegal aliens into the country, many of whom are rapists, murderers, drug dealers, terrorists. They're all illegal and criminals, some more than others.

There is a lot of money being spent on illegals that could be used to subsidize the industry if need be. Other country can tariff imports due to the subsidies. 'People won't work' is a silly meme. Main street has not seen real wage growth, [aside from now, and Trumps last admin], for decades. So you are naturally going to see less supply of worker for strenuous jobs at a lower wage.

My point is look at the net cost. They are paying these folks sub living wages. So they are being subsidized (housing, healthcare food) by US tax dollars. The. You have to account for the cost of us citizens who are also on subsidies because they can’t find jobs. And jobless people are more apt to take drugs and commit crimes

So in the end is it really cheaper ?

Also take minimum wage as an example. In Cali they raised it. So what did Micky Ds do? They automated.

Just saying let’s make sure they are citizens Then if they choose to work for slave wages fine but you don’t get welfare

Well if you are being literal, then so is Trump.

I am saying, I don't care if they came here illegally. Are they contributing? Have they committed crimes once they got here? Have they been here long? Do they value America and not hate it? If so, why would you want to kick them out. Give them Visas or something....start the process, christ the government employees enough people. To the others who do nothing, takes social money without giving back and criminals. Send them back. Kill them. I don't care.

Yeah it is if the work isn't being performed.

For the crowd (lefties) that say americans don't want to do those jobs, who cares? The world needs ditch diggers too. I am certain once able bodied lazy asses on the government teat are forced off of free hand outs and forced to work they will have to swallow their pride and do work they don't "want" to do.
