I am surprised it took this long for one of "these" types of posters to have this take. Again, while the Pirates employee was in the wrong from a professional standpoint, he was in the right if that altercation had been in most other environments. The guy deserved to get punched in the face, you just shouldn't do that while on the clock.

What do you mean by one of “these” posters? As an employee he was completely in the wrong and should be fired. He was on the clock and that is the only environment that matters in this scenario. Thug is also not a racial term in any sense. If any person no matter the race starts punching someone while working and they aren’t in boxing or mma then they are a thug.

You know what you are. I said I agree that the employee was in the wrong. He can't do that on the clock. But the guy definitely deserved it. So you can't call a $15/hr employee a "thug" for punching a guy who definitely deserved to get punched. Perhaps he thought, this $15/hr job isn't worth me holding back against this hillbilly. And he's probably right.

Of course its ok to punch someone if you are off duty as long as that person deserved to get punched. Oh no, its assault. Don't tell me that. Its a confrontation between 2 grown men. In each other's faces. Both realizing a real "fight" can start at any moment. Someone has to throw first. So, yes, 1 million percent, its ok to punch someone if they deserve it.
