Having two starters fade out in Day 1 and having two others share a weight class will do that. Ultimately, we have 5 guys in the Quarters, last year we had 2. This year we're 7th after Day 1, last year we were 14th. The gap will widen tomorrow.
Virginia has one guy who'll rack up major points tomorrow in Sulzer - provided he handles Marstellar. Max will challenge for the title. Wilps should finish top 3. 149 should get us a top 4 finisher. We have 13 guys still alive, even with only one per class counting.
It's really too bad Bright couldn't have went at 141 - strongly feel he could have made the finals, minimum. 149 is much more difficult.
