bracketmatrix.com compiles brackets from over 100 different sources and updates every day. Rather than NET/RPI/ELO or anything else... this is the "wisdom of crowds", averaging out this many brackets gives you a better idea of the consensus view on that particular day.

Currently, Pitt is 37th on the S-curve (top 10 seed).

The "last team in" is basically 46th. Here's a list of every team that is 25th through 52nd .... the 7-seeds down to all teams showing up in any bracket.

These are the teams (outside of Pitt) that you want to root against. This is basically the range Pitt can climb or fall, in my opinion, over these next two weeks.

25: Maryland
26: Duke
27: Michigan State
28: Texas A&M

29: Illinois
30: Arkansas
31: Providence
32: Iowa
33: Missouri
34: Rutgers
35: FAU
36: NC State
37: Pitt
38: Auburn
39: Nevada
40: Memphis
41: USC
42: Boise State
43: WVU
44: Mississippi State
45: Arizona State
46: Wisconsin
-----------CUT LINE-----------
47: Oklahoma State
48: North Carolina
49: Michigan
50: Utah State
51: Clemson
52: Penn State

The teams in RED lost tonight. The teams in GREEN won tonight. Pitt will probably move ahead of NC State in bracketmatrix tomorrow.
The best way to look at it: 10 teams would have to pass Pitt for Pitt to miss the tournament.

Any time a team in this list loses, it helps Pitt. Especially when it is one of the ones behind Pitt.
