What's not to like watching these freshman , Johnson is the best freshman guard since ... well he looks like the best one I can remember, The wings also have tremendous upside .
What I want to see in the next recruiting class is a grad transfer big man whose a defensive stopper and rebounder and a freshman big who reclassifies since almost all of the high profile guys are gone . With JWF leaving Pitt needs to either develop a shooter or add one . Good times lie ahead for this group , they just need some help .

No , but Parker Stewart would be nice .

Ps ..because i objected to the outright hatred and venomous comments regarding him as a person and his family doesn't mean I thought he was a good coach . Because I objected to Pitt trying to wiggle out of his horrible contract that they gave him with all the best lawyers at their desposal also doesn't mean I ever thought he was a good coach . You need to get your facts right I was a JD man 100% . Now I'm 100% in on JC . I know your old so try and remember this !

You were his biggest supporter on this board until late February last year when you finally came around and realized what was obvious to others for a long, long time. You were still saying that he was a good coach and a good hire right up until the bitter end. Your current denial of all this doesn't mean that isn't what you posted, over and over again, it means that you are hoping people forget how big a fan and defender of the guy that you were.

Why, why do you guys always insist on bringing up the past, no matter what the post is about.
Kofi Cockburn is taking an official visit to Pitt...just announced...
Tyrese Samuel looks like an NBA player to me.... we are still in for him.....
Karim Coulibaly has tons of offensive skill we are still in for him.
Plus you still got grad transfer guys and reclassification for next year still.

Your delusional . For a man whose so OCD on the smallest of facts your not doing your homework .

Hated the hire from day one . He wasn't a "splash hire " and he grossly mishandled the SJeter transfer .

I stated many times Pitt didn't hire KS to win or even seriously compete in the ACC . There was nothing in all of his yrs of coaching to support the idea that they hired him to win a championship . He runs clean programs , his players stay out of trouble and they go to class .He's a proven middle of the pack kind of coach nothing more nothing less. .( except at Pitt )

With the total late season collapse in his first season and losing both his top recruit and returning player for the following season I called for his dismissal.

As a JD supporter there's no denying he left Pitt with a totally dysfunctional roster . Six D1 players with four of them seniors . Last yrs recruiting class had better players than either of JDs last two . That still doesn't mean I supported him.

Because I find it offensive to attack a man's character whom none of know doesn't mean I supported him . His three best players choose to leave when he was fired . All three would be in Pitt uniforms today had he been retained . To me that says something about the man . His players believed in him . They didn't believe he quit on them .

Saying that , he was a horrible hire and did a horrible job while here . He deserved to be fired , but I never though Heather would pull the carpet out from under him ,too many zeros left on his contract . That doesn't mean i supported him .

Because I thought Pitt should honor the contract they willingly signed doesn't mean I supported him.

I must admit after their ND win in his first ACC game I was optimistic. I also fell for the idea that with less stringent academic requirements he could recruit better at Pitt than Vandy . That still doesn't mean I supported him.

Get your facts right Mr OCD !

I think @gary2 was Stallings biggest supporter, but not because gary liked Stallings, but more because he was understandably standing against everyone who against him.

Nothing against gary2, but I thought it a little funny that the only person who supported Stallings was because everyone else didn't.

Let's just say that it's great the you finally saw the light, months/years after some others did, and leave it at that. You stop pretending that you didn't think it was a good hire and that you weren't his biggest supporter right up until the middle/end of February last season and I'll stop pointing out that when you say that you are lying.

Yeah, you might be right about that. Fs might have only been his second biggest supporter. It is possible that I am off by one spot on "the list".

Dude, you were praising stallings a couple weeks ago in a thread about Parker Stewart.
You need to improve your reading comprehension . Never praised KS in the post . I praised PS for improving his play as the season progressed . I also feel if he was here JC would figure out how best to use him to take advantage of his strengths and shelter him from his weaknesses. That's what good coaches do .

There is NOTHING ambiguous about this. You called KS a good coach just last week.
Correct and that was reference to how JC would/could use PS . KS had no option but to use PS and he did improve last season as he got use to the speed of the game .

You're. Who's. You're

I too am OCD as well as the grammar police and you're going to jail

Now you're in my head and know what I'm saying !
There was never a reference to KS in any of my posts ! My post says what this team needs and it's coached by JC not KS .

So you were talking about Parker stewart’s play improving last year, and then players improve based off good coaching, but you weren’t talking about stallings?

Lol.
