What will everyone but watching closely/most intrigued to see against Austin Peay in the opener?
I know, it's just an FCS school and we won't be able to make too many judgements but this is the first time we will see the team at all!
I am most intrigued by how the OL plays. I know the playbook will likely be limited but I want to see this OL come out and show physical dominance and improvement in the run game. Pitt needs to establish an effective run game this season. I know they will still likely be pass-heavy, but this OL needs to be able to open holes when needed. They need the threat of a run game. If they come out and can't get a push against this team, it's gonna make me question the outlook the whole offense!
Side notes: I am super excited to watch Addision (if he is as good as advertised, he should dominate FCS competition). Who (if anyone) steps up at RB. Lastly, how Wendell Davis runs the defense and handles his gaps in the run game.
