I’m hoping they go back to the Blue and Gold with the classic Pitt script or even all Gold would be great as well to give it that late 80’s early 90’s type of tournament feel. I know Pitt won with the Black unis last night but please ditch them for Friday and the rest of the tournament.

I was thinking the same thing. It might start turning into a superstitious sort of thing which is why they might stay with the Black.

As much as I’d love the blue uniforms, you gotta go with the black.
Throw away all the uniforms you have now, and get 2 good ones for next season.

How does it work? Does Iowa State get to pick first as the higher seed? If Iowa State picks white uniforms, then I assume we can pick any color (blue, gold, black). If Iowa State has black unis and picks those, we will have to wear something else. What if Iowa State picks its red unis? Can we still wear black?
I honestly don't care. Yellow is my favorite, but I'm not in love with any of them. The throwbacks they were wearing a few years ago were perfect. The uniforms now look like soccer uniforms or something to me.
I like the Pitt Script Blue, but it's strange how they wear that the least. I'd like the yellow better if they put PITT script on the front of it.

Dislike the black uni’s, but like Crash Davis said you never mess with a winning streak.
National TV on Friday. Need to represent the university's branding, not the Pittsburgh Steelers/Pirates/Penguins.
We have beautiful road blues. And we've had success in them. I wouldn't mind the black so much if there was at least some of our royal blue trim on there.
I completely agree on all fronts. I’m just superstitious when it comes to stuff like that.

You want to wear non-school colors at some random game in December that no one but us fans cares about? Yeah, hey, sure, go for it. But when you are playing a big game on national television wear your colors.
This fan base spent how many years bitching that they wanted us to change colors, and then we do change them, although not to what they used to be that so many people were pining for, and now people are OK with us wearing something else.
If we were going to wear something other than our regular colors in big games we should have just stuck to wearing the school's actual colors, navy blue and gold.
