I know we have a long thread about this, but I figured I would put this out front:
We're expecting today's press conference to announce that Bub Carrington is entering the NBA Draft. I do not believe it will be presented as Carrington entering the Draft process, like Blake Hinson did last year, but rather Carrington declaring for the Draft.
We'll have more details on this whole thing later this afternoon once it becomes official, but that's what we're hearing. It's a blow for Pitt to lose Carrington, of course, but it's also not the worst thing to be able to claim one of the best freshman guards in the country and a one-and-done talent. You'd like to have him on the team for more than a year, obviously, and you'd like the presence of that talent to result in more than an ACC Tournament semifinal appearance. But I think there are positives that can come from this.
