- The men's BB coach hire looks shaky. She gives him an extension that he certainly has not earned. (a probable minus) Capel has not shown the ability to to prep his team for a game. They always seem to start slow. Talent evaluation is also questionable. No shooters,
That is not to mention that she seems to have more financial support that the previous ADs.
If both BB teams fail to achieve substantial improvement next year, she needs to feel a little heat from the administration.
A grade of "C" may be an better that the failures that preceded her, but it is not a justification for the administration to accept average performace.
Hope she gets to stay a Pitt a long time, but it will take a major improvement in the mens BB program. She seems to have hitched her career to Capel.
