What's baffling is that they don't ever try to isolate him on the block and and allow him to use his brute strength against the Cat Barbers of CBB. Instead he dribbles and passes incessantly around the perimeter while mixing in a few mortar rounds from 3. Brutal

I like James Robinson, but he is not a good shooter to begin with and he now seems to pressing and has gone into a slump the last 3 games going 1 for 9 from beyond the arc. It seems as though a majority of his threes hit the back of the rim with almost too much arc. Also, why doesn't Pitt seem to be able to get 3 point shots for their best shooters, Sterling Smith and Cam Johnson who take 1 three, while James shoots 3?

Because teams WANT Robinson to shoot. They leave him open and dare him to shoot. It's almost guaranteed he will miss and they can crash for a rebound.
