Where is the new Stadium going to go and how big should it be?

Here's the options:

Schenley Plaza next to the Carnegie Museum on 5th Avenue. Hillman and Posvar would need torn down and built somewhere else. We need a new library anyway. There are not enough outlets at Hillman to accommodate all the electronic devices and a study revealed that that cannot be fixed. The cost to buy Schenley Plaza is probably around $100 million-$150 million at most.

- across the Blvd of the Allies from that Best Western/Panera Bread. Would have to buy and demolish 2 office buildings and potentially an apartment building and 10-20 private homes. Land acquisition cost: again around $100 million.

- on Forbes Avenue between Oakland Ave and Meyran. Have to tear down that Pitt office building building and buy a dozen or so smaller commercial buildings. Since Pitt owns much of this land, I'd estimate this land acquisition to be around $75 million

You're talking about a major D1 ACC University that doesn't have a track or tennis courts.
Even D3 colleges have both of those.

And you expect them to build a on campus football stadium?

Way to challenging for the PITT crew.

Knocking stuff down is easy, rebuilding is the hard part!

Go PITT & CSU Rams!

In Schenley Park on Flagstaff hill. It will be an enclosed bowl with a seating capacity of 25,000 (all bench seats--no chair backs).

I'm surprised SMF didn't list this, because it's about as likely as anything he mentioned. Any football stadium ever considered will be up on the hill where the other athletic facilities are.
