Curt WarnerI thought he would be another great from Running Back U following in the steps of DJ Dozier, Blair Thomas, Curtis Enos and the GOAT Ki-Jana Carter.

Except for those (PSU fans) rating him higher than Tony Dorsett as a college back, then he was definitely overrated.Hilarious that he was considered overrated at any time.
i hate to say it because i despise PSU and especially hated them back then but man, put your hatred aside, Curtis Enis was a bad ass running back. Well in college anyways. i mean he was like 235, looked like an inside linebacker but just had insane speed.Curt Warner
I remember when the Steelers played the Giants and James had over 100 rushing and Barkley had 6 on 15 carries. But that Barkley is in the past… dude was too talented. I’m sure his fanboys are left wondering what could have been had he been on a better team earlier in his career.
We are reaching the territory where more people didn’t see Dorsett play in college than did. First time I saw him play was Super Bowl Xlll. So I get that people would discount him. But the fact that so many people still rate TD as the best college RB ever says a lot about what he did here.Except for those (PSU fans) rating him higher than Tony Dorsett as a college back, then he was definitely overrated.
im 48, i dont even remember Marino. My earliest memories are congemi. So your first sentence, i'd say 2/3rds of PItt football fans are too young to remember Dorsett. We are reaching the territory where more people didn’t see Dorsett play in college than did. def shocked he was an nfl bust. a few RBs that were busts that i would have bet my life on them being great were him, that Salaam dude from COlorado and the head case from Nebraska, PHillips. I guess with him you saw it with his criminal past but the other two should have been great in the nfl.
you see, that's how i felt about Kajana Carter. that 93-94 team was just sick and carter always seemed to break a long run every game and put up great numbers but the runs werent all that great, he just ran and went untouched, literally every game. he didnt have great size or anything, just was fortunate to play on a great team..Ends was a normal dude playing on a great team. No different than any other system RB. Barkley had a skillet we haven't seen since Barry Sanders.
It's been a while, but I do remember Carter as being very fast. Shame he tore up his knee in his first exhibition game.you see, that's how i felt about Kajana Carter. that 93-94 team was just sick and carter always seemed to break a long run every game and put up great numbers but the runs werent all that great, he just ran and went untouched, literally every game. he didnt have great size or anything, just was fortunate to play on a great team..
i though Enis, mostly due to his bulk and speed, would have been special. of course he wasnt so i was proven wrong. but man, he ran over and thru people..
Love Saquon, but what about Marshal Faulk, Ladanian Tomlinson, or even a guy like Jamal Charles?Ends was a normal dude playing on a great team. No different than any other system RB. Barkley had a skillet we haven't seen since Barry Sanders.
We’re only talking about Saquon because of the 17 game schedule. Chris Johnson’s 2009 season was better.I said he is overrated. People were and are acting like he is Barry Sanders and he is not. He has a good line and great scheme and he gets to play against abysmal run defenses 6 to 8 times a year. He still is overrated. A lot of backs would do what he is doing behind that line with the carries he gets.
