Which pronounciation is correct?

Champagnie----I've heard it pronounced 2 totally different ways already--on the broadcast, then on the Pitt production. On the broadcast, most times they called him "sham-PAIN" just like the beverage. Then I heard Hillgrove (not the best for correctness) call him "Sham-PENNY" many times. The Pitt roster page doesn't have a pronounciation given?
