Clearly, as stated previously many times, Coach Pat & Staff first changed Attitudes with Pitt Recruits & Players, then got them to focus on just playing all 4 Quarters, and then making sure film rooms, training, and finally good game plans with consistent playing was a priority. This was after 4 Coaches over 4 years, joining the ACC, and Coaches that came to Pitt to leave Pitt. Even though these Players were Wannstedt, Graham, and Chryst Recruits it was Coach Pat & Staff that coached them up for the NFL. This Foundation of Changing Pitt Athletics was done in Coach Pat First Year.

In Coach Pat's Second Year, improved the Offense, develop 2 and 3 Star recruits into All Americans and set Historic Offensive Record. Pitt unlike under Graham or Chryst was able to to be Top Ten Teams, Conference Champions, and National Champions as well as Play Great Games against VT, Iowa, UNC, and even ND that won Coastal & Big Ten West Divisions. This is also a step forward showing how Coach Pat & Staff continue to build the Foundation of Pitt Football.

In his Third Year with an even tougher schedule Pitt's Coach Pay & Staff will have his toughest challenges. Stable New OC, Return of Coach Partridge that could have been hired anywhere, combine with Athletic Director Heather Lyke Vice that has a better mind for Pitt than Pederson or Barnes, and Pitt added Staffers required to improve Recruiting, Player's Development, and continued expansion of Boosters, Sponsors, and Alumni Contribution to solidify Pitt Rebuilding Football Foundation. These are needed to win 10+ games, ACC Coastal, Bowl Game, and become a Top 25 Winning Team and Program.
The Coaching is here at Pitt!

..............Sportings News’ reason for its generous assessment of the Panthers is tied to its victories last season against Penn State and Clemson, expected improvement in Pat Narduzzi’s third season and quarterback Max Browne. Meanwhile, Pitt made a national splash Friday and Saturday when five of its players were selected in the NFL Draft. Getting five players drafted in one 19-hour period has less meaning than a pedestrian average of 7.25 victories in the four seasons since joining the ACC, but it’s a good start. Pitt is one of only 15 Power 5 schools that had at least five players drafted, and there are only three others on the list — Miami, North Carolina and Clemson — from the ACC. The impressive number, though, is 16. That’s how many Pitt players — 19 percent of its 85 scholarships — who will be in NFL camp’s for at least a few days this year...........One more quick note about the draft and Pitt:
The New York Giants traded up in the sixth round to get offensive tackle Adam Bisnowaty, giving the Tennessee Titans sixth- and seventh-round picks. The Giants knew there was a market for offensive tackles late in the draft — four were selected after the Giants nabbed Bisnowaty — and went up to get the man they wanted. Adam, it must be nice to be wanted.
